Revised: im willing to try store out again after talking with someone there who was very friendly and helpful.
It was an impressive store but easy to get overwhelmed if not helped out when you start going there.

I’m new to learning to quilt and their shop is impressive in size and amount of stuff they have but I wondered around for awhile lost. I saw employees talking with each other but not one person came up to me and asked if I needed help. I was one of the few people shopping in the store.
I bought a little fabric and tried to engage woman cutting fabric in conversation on how I was new and she never said anything to me but carried on her conversation with co workers.
I felt invisible there. I’ve visited a smaller store and gotten questions answered.
It’s a shame if it’s not bringing and helping new customers

They never rush you, even when the store is busy, and they’re always ready to offer personalized advice for your project.

I’ve been impressed by their patience, especially when I have questions or need guidance. Whether you’re a seasoned crafter or just starting out, they make sure you feel comfortable and confident in your choices. On several occasions, staff members have researched answers in finding items that weren’t immediately available on the floor.

Of course, no one is perfect, and we all have off days. There may be times when a staff member is focused on another task or not at their best. But let’s remember, we’re all human, and even then, I’ve always found them willing to stop and assist with my questions. It's a level of understanding and kindness that’s hard to come by in retail, and it's something I really appreciate about shopping here.

It’s clear that the team takes pride in their work, and that pride shows in every interaction. Their attention to detail, from recommending the right materials to troubleshooting sewing machine issues, makes all the difference. Shopping at 35th Ave feels less like a chore and more like collaborating with a community of people who truly want to see you succeed.

That level of personalized, thoughtful service is rare these days, and it’s why I don’t mind making the extra drive. You leave the store not only with the supplies you need but also with the confidence that you’ll be able to tackle your project with the right support behind you.

Overwhelming but organized shop. Has everything you need for quilting and your crafts. Has long arm services, long arm machine for you to try on and other machines to pet base and get services on.

Great store and wonderful staff. Lots of fabric for any holiday, color, brand or subject. Notions galore plus software for any machine. Haven't bought a machine here, but just love the store for anything fabric or sewing related.

Sharon is a true asset to this place. She helped me save almost $18 and fully explained future ways to save! Sharon made me feel an over-the-counter embrace of friendliness! Their myriad of fabrics is incomparable to anywhere in the valley. For additional feedback, my entry into the store and throughout my perusing I didn't get a welcoming feeling until I stood in the cutting line then the checkout. I feel a simple greeting of welcome into the store and/or a check-in while weaving through isles would go a long way no matter the demographic coming through.

I came into owning a 1971 vintage New Home (Janome). The machine would run, but the reverse was stuck which was also affecting zigzag. I took the machine to a nearby Janome dealer to do a service and repair on it. They returned it as, "unrepairable". To be honest, I should have known better. 35th avenue has always been able to fix everything I've brought to them in the past, I should have just brought it there first. I called them, and they said everything inside is metal gear so it should be repairable and to bring it in and they'll just do service on it and go from there. They called me a few weeks later and said it was ready for pickup and everything worked perfectly. I didn't believe it until I saw it, but everything does work perfectly! This team is the best, trust no other places to your sewing machines!

The most fabulous fabric store I have ever been to. So many choices of fabric and supplies. The staff there was incredibly wonderful to work with. So helpful and friendly. I spent a lot of hours in this store. Can't wait to go back.
