Had a great 3 night stay at Hotel Indigo New Orleans. The rooms are small, but well appointed with everything we needed. The bed was comfy and the ac got cold, which was appreciated even in December. The front desk staff were so nice and welcoming each time we saw them. The ladies we spoke with were all personable and I felt they genuinely wanted to make it the best stay possible for us. The location is perfect- one block off Canal so you’re close enough to walk most of the French Quarter but far enough away from the noise and hustle & bustle. Would absolutely stay again. The staff made that an easy decision!

We traveled in a snow storm for a cruise, arrived early and was welcomed literally with opened arms and smiles. It was like coming home to visit family. Everyone was extremely helpful in helping us navigate New Orleans, as well as the trolley cars. Once we returned from our cruise the same staff was more excited to see us upon our return than when we initally arrived. We were concerned about our flight being canceled due to the approaching storm, however the staff assured us in the even our flight did cancel we would have beds and warmth waiting for us.We were able to make it home, but will return again and again 🙂

I enjoyed my stay here. Room was comfortable and very clean. Great location and love the fact that the door to entrance of the hotel is locked at night. Customer service was excellent. I visited in December for a convention and it got very busy and hectic at check out as everyone was leaving town. Even through all of the chaos the lady at the counter named Jada kept an amazing attitude! Kudos to her! I’d definitely come back here

I was unable to make it to New Orleans due to weather. However, my girlfriend, traveling separately, was able to get there. The staff was wonderful and accommodating. I, mistakenly, reserved an interior room. The staff moved (upgraded?) her to a more comfortable room with a window. The room was excellent and the location of the property was perfect for seeing New Orleans. She spent a lot of quality time with her son, a resident of NO.

BTW the way, I really appreciate earning extra points by declining housekeeping during her stay!

Thank you, so much, for the excellent service.

Sincerely,

Dale Smith

No words can describe my stay here. Front desk staff is amazing. I will stay at this hotel merely just for the front desk staff. They are helping, professional, knowledgeable, friendly, go the extra mile for guest. The manager is on it always helping staff, always helping guests, stops what he is doing to help and answer questions. Hotel very clean ,safe, and great location, yes my room smaller but OMG staff makes it worthwhile Alicia, Jada, and the total front desk are amazing.. Close to everything!!! Loved it

I’ve never been to a hotel where it’s a buffet and you can’t make it yourself. And no free coffee is insane! I read the reviews carefully before deciding on this room. Not only do they want to make the food for you but they also want you to eat it in the lobby instead of bringing it to your room. The eggs are fake and the sausage isn’t done. It’s not worth it. The rooms are nice and very small but it isn’t worth it! The parking is $50 a day and the rooms are $100 plus, you would think we could get a free cup of fresh coffee with unlimited creamer and sugar. The ladies in the front told me there’s coffee in your room to fix the coffee and it was weak 2 sugars and two creamers. It was me and my husband and there was two coffee pods one decaf and one regular. We both drink regular coffee. This has got to be a joke. Now I am forced to get dressed, wait on valet to bring our vehicle and find some where to get coffee and some decent breakfast. Not to mention it is freezing outside. This is not a comfortable stay at all. Sink in the room is stopped up.

My wife and I stayed at this property for 4 nights. The pros of this property is that it has a great location. It is close to the trolley stop that will take you to the Garden District and within walking distance of Bourbon Street, the casino, and the WWII Museum. The room, while very small, was clean and the bed was comfortable. The staff was friendly and always willing to interact with guests.

The cons. While I realize that it isn't the hotel's fault, the area surrounding the hotel is dirty. The sidewalks are terrible and the vacant building located behind the hotel doesn't help to make the area seem a little nicer. The room we stayed in was tiny! The door to the bathroom actually hit the toilet. On top of that, we had an interior room with no "real" window. Rather we had a glass block opening with a weird light behind it. While it did make for good sleeping, it was very easy to lose track of time while in the room.

Bed was extremely comfortable however that's about where it ends. We stay in Nola quite often about twice a month at the min. We stayed here for the first and last time for the price of the room definitely not equal to the value. Rooms are extremely tiny and cramped. Shower has very little water pressure and water never gets really hot. Showerhead needs to be cleaned or replaced. The biggest problem is light coming into room from around the door and at the base of door. We stayed on the 10th floor and you would swear the windows were open and we were on the first floor. We could hear everything outside of the window.
