All I can say is WOW! Our carpets were in bad shape after a former tenant moved out. We called STEAM VAC INC and they brought the carpet back to life. Professional, excellent outcome, and quick. I tried carpet cleaning all three rooms with my personal carpet cleaner, went over the carpet three time. However, it still had an odor, gum, and stains. Ben did an excellent job, the carpet looks like new, gum is out, smells freah, and the job was quick. Would highly recommend.

Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend this service. We had great results with one of their technicians and service in August at one of our rental properties. The technician really put in extra effort and did a great job cleaning the empty home five rooms of carpet and the kitchen and bathroom tile. Based on that service, I cleaned my home this week only to find out that that technician no longer works for the company. The price I was quoted over the phone for four rooms was immediately disputed upon arrival, even though my house is not empty, but full of furniture and the cleanable area is much less. . I also found out upon arrival that the price I was quoted for four rooms was a five room special. The technician did not put in any extra effort and left my Carpet incredibly wet. I called this to his attention and received a huge explanation of about five different reasons why it was ok. When I insisted, he came back in And sucked up a small amount of the extra water only in one spot that I pointed out was sopping wet. The office staff told me it would take six hours for my carpet to dry and the technician told me that it might take 10. It has now been 32 hours with a very large dehumidifier, running the entire time, and my carpet still has wet spots. I fear that my carpet, and possibly the padding may actually develop mold or mildew underneath. I also pointed out that the traffic patterns did did not appear to be clean and wiped a white paper towel over one of those areas to demonstrate that there was still dirt in the Carpet and I received another list of excuses as to why traffic patterns cannot be cleaned in Florida because of the sand breaking down the carpet fibers. I am paying my bill now for the agreed-upon price to clean five rooms even though I ended up with two rooms and a hallway and only the two doorways to the other bedrooms being cleaned. I own four homes in Destin And this is the last one that will be cleaned by this company. This was a horrible experience and my carpet should be dry approximately 40 hours after cleaning. My recommendation is to search for a reputable technician and not just a company that has good performance based on technicians that no longer work there.
