Un TRES agréable moment dans ce magnifique B&B de Louvain (ou Leuven !!) ... Le confort des lits, la décoration original, le petit dejeuner copieux et varié, la petite terrasse pour le livre du soir ou le bain de soleil le matin, la grande sympathie des propriétaires, présents et discrets ... en un mot... PARFAIT .... j'en rêve encore ... 😉

Would not give even 1 star based on despicable rude behavior of staff/butler. Very congested stairs to go to the top and very difficult to manage with a 3-year old child in double atrium. Congested bathrooms without garbage bins, and no cleaning facilities provided during our two day stay. Not a kid friendly-place at all as we were fearful of slipping as adult let alone child on open yet extremely crammed stairways.

The breakfast was a compromise, cold slump and hardly anything hot other than a tea or coffee that you can also make in the room. 2 eggs and some cheese for a family of 3, and that too finished well before 9 am. We arrived late after 9 hours journey and they expected not to even walk in the room with paper thin walls. We literally had to carry all our luggage up the third floor and floor sounded like a horror mansion.

Private parking costs 14 EUR as compared to what they mentioned 10 on their page. They charged on credit card even after mentioning 'pay at the property'.

The worst of all is that they did not create a business receipt after our stay, rather initiated slurs that you left room spoilt and we will not generate an invoice after requesting for 3 weeks. I paid you 170 EUR a night and it's not just to sleep (that's five star hotel rate), get the room cleaning done timely and by yourself. The butler is a racist and an open liar who would enact poorly once you have left the property.
Steer clear of this horror mansion!

We couldn’t find a better place to stay for our trip in Leuven, an old building with modern rooms, cozy, warm, everything is good quality, you basically have everything and even more to feel at home. We had tea, water and coffee in the room. A mini fridge with some beverages extra cost. The room was at the 2nd floor but the water at douche was plenty and hot. The bed is huge and so comfortable, if you find the big pillows too hard, you have the small ones. The towels and the sheets are so clean. Breakfast was amazing, with everything. Everywhere in the house there are signs of care and attention at details. Details makes the difference ! We could park the car in a private parking place with 7 euro/night in the neighbourhood of the pension. The host, Johan, is kind and efficient !
