Very I’m professional! They just need Money! J’ai déposé une demande de visa de courte durée pour la France depuis le 10 Juillet 2022. Je suis passée par VFS. Global le même jour pour avoir mon rendez vous ce jour 17 août à 10h45
J’arrive aujourd’hui pour mon interview on me fait rentrer et l’agent consulaire me dit qu’il faut 2 à 3 semaines pour qu’on traite ma demande à moins que je ne reporte mon voyage pour une date autre que celle du 24 août 2022.
J’aimerais savoir pourquoi VSF.Global m’a montré les dates disponibles pour mon rendez vous sachant que ladite date était à une semaine de ma date de voyage. Avant de prendre mon argent ou après avoir pris mon argent vous devriez étudier mon dossier pour me laisser savoir que je dois changer ma date de voyage !

Une honte j ai jamais vu autant d incompetence de ma vie.
Ils sont pas capable de verifier leur boite email et la boite postale. Des menteurs qui disent ne pas avoir recu d email alors que j ai reçu la reponse automatique.
Ils gardent le passeport des mois sans donner de nouvelle.

Resultat VISA refusé alors qu il a ete approuvé dans un premier temps pour le motif qu ils n ont pas recu mon passeport. Alors qu ils l ont depuis des semaines.

Bonjour, est-il possible de savoir le délai pour estomper le visa pour le canada, mes parents sont actuellement aux USA et ont envoyé leurs passeports à VFS Global NY. Svp je suis dans le besoin d'eux vu que je vais accouché d'ici la fin du mois.

This is my second time to file for my Schengen visa. My first time was not a good experience but I chose to not write a review because it might have just been a one-off thing. However, my second visit only validated my first, plus more.
The security staff have the rudest demeanor towards me, bordering on aggressive. The abrasive, dismissive and condescending tone put me on the defensive.
I came on a workday with a 9:15 AM appointment on my way to work.
The security on the first floor was very adamant in only letting people in 15 minutes before their appointment, I was refused entry because I arrived around 8:50 AM - this I understood. When I returned, he asked if I had a laptop in my bag, and I said “Yes.” I was instructed to head to the second floor to deposit my laptop, as it was not allowed on the third floor where my appointment was to happen - fair enough. I go to the second floor where I had to sit and wait for about to 10 minutes to deposit my laptop. Once I got called to speak to the gentleman who will keep my laptop, I was told that I had to pay $20 (yes, I said twenty dollars), as a fee for them to keep my laptop. And they won’t accept cash, just credit card. I asked why there is a fee and was told that the laptop deposit service was A SEPARATE entity from VFS, thus a separate fee. Already I am triggered. Not only will I not have my work laptop with me, but I had to pay a fee. I asked why I was not allowed to keep my laptop in my bag and was told that they don’t allow it upstairs as policy, because of sensitive information in the premises - I work in tech, and I forced myself to believe this reason - fine! I go upstairs to my appointment where, once again, the rudest security staff greets you - at this point I have conceded to this reality. When I got to sit in the waiting area, lo and behold, I see a person seated, typing away in their device (photo attached).
I am livid. I just wasted 10 minutes and paid $20 for a bogus policy!
I literally paid for my honesty in declaring that I had a laptop inside my bag, in which I had no plans in using, when they don’t even impose that rule anyways.

TLDR: efficient and quick in-person experience applying for UK visa for work, not what I braced for given the number of bad reviews. Would still use the "Keep My Passport" option though.

Had to use VFS to apply for a UK visa for work and was not thrilled about submitting my passport here with an upcoming trip due to the reviews. I added the "Keep My Passport" option when I found out that was an option. Came in 5 minutes before appointment time with just a small tote bag containing a plastic binder with my documents. Went through the security scanning upstairs and was soon called up by one of the employees to submit my documents. Then waited 15-20 minutes to be called for biometrics. I was handed back my passport and was out of there fairly quickly. I got an email exactly a week later saying my visa was available. I came back the next day and got the visa attached to my passport in under 15 minutes. All interactions with the visa staff were pleasant.

They won't let you in the building until 20mins ahead. There's absolutely no where to wait within a 2 block radius, unless you want to spend $15 on a bagel. Just don't show up here too early.

( I was processed short and sweet at the appointment. Still conflicting information about what visa is good for what between the Consulate website and the visa officer but that's not the VFS center's fault. )

They will have no tracking for your passport through phone nor email not website. Your applicant reference number will get you nothing on the VFS Global website. Very unnerving week because there's no one to hold responsible. No way of knowing what's going on until they contact you. This is NOT an American company/agency. This is outsourcing that more than 150 countries agreed to. It's a monopoly on visa processing. Unlike pre COVID days.

If you get really worried, contact them through Instagram or X @vfsglobalofficial . These accounts do not look official but they apparently are. I had to take the leap to find out. They will take 12hrs+ to answer you.

Bring self addressed next day envelope (from any courier) otherwise you'll have no idea where your passport is; outside of 'we gave it to the foreign gov.' and 'We mailed it to you.' Premium appointment service seems to be a way to get eyes money out of applicants. They know the are big gaps in the information they are giving you but do not care. Ask every question you want at your appointment because after that you're in the dark for a week!

I'm only choosing countries that have the Visa On Arrival option from now on. Good luck!

This has to be one of the pathetic places to ever get your passport renewed.No prompt service always delay in a response. I'm surprised how ministry of external affairs has give VFS Global the authority to for a passport application compared a way better counterpart(TCS) domestically. These people have not acted upon my application even after sending them entire documents after 15 days. Not even a email confirmation that they recieved a mail.pathetic!!!!

I visited this location to drop off my passport for my Canada VISA. The staff were friendly and directed me to the correct place efficiently. The officer I interacted with was very professional, explaining the necessary steps and providing clear information on when I could expect to receive my passport.

However, I encountered an issue with the charges. The portal indicated that the fees would be $22.20 for one way Package transmission (per package), but I was charged $61. This discrepancy was unexpected, and I'm unsure of the reason behind it.
