Do yourself the favor and stay away from these crooks. I hope they see my name because they should know now who I am by, and from how many times I've had to call these people for the 500 security deposit back. My fiance and I decided to come to Los Angeles to see if we would like living here, so we decided to rent from VRLA, huge mistake. First of all, it's going on 3 months and they keep saying they refunded the deposit to our credit card, which makes no sense, we gave them cash. They even had us make a PayPal account, and never sent it via PayPal (thanks for wasting more of our time). There was a banging noise all week, which no one ever came by to fix, not surprised. The TV didn't work, and Rachels response to me was "oh yeah the TV usually doesn't get reception since the walls are concrete." We didn't have access to the Jacuzzi, or the rooftop, so all those nice photos they show you is all hype. Mysteriously our reference number got changed, so that was the "mix up" with the deposit. Then the two people handling our deposit went on vacation, convenient right? I am going through the better business bureau now to get our deposit back from these people, and this is after they told us they sent the refund to our credit card, and they have a screen shot. Vanessa, I'm still waiting for that e-mail, you said 5 minutes, it's been 2 days. I guess you don't have proof. Please do not even waste your time speaking to Rachel, she takes the 500 dollar deposit, and then will tell you she doesn't deal with finances, ironic when we handed her the money she dealt with financial matters just fine. Basically after this essay I just wrote save yourself the trouble and the headache.

AWFUL service. They steal money out of your account, without authorization, and do not refund it. In November when I booked, I paid half and was told I would pay the remaining in December.NOT TRUE! Three days after my first payment, they pulled the second payment. So, the rental was completely paid for in November. Then they sent an email saying there was a problem depositing the funds into their account, even though it was gone from my account, and they pulled another 820.00 out at beginning of January. So, I ended up paying twice, and they keep saying they will refund it. It's been over two weeks! Rebecca in the Los Angeles office is great! Unfortunately the "property managers" are not!! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!! SAVE YOURSELVES THE HASSLES AND FEES!

This agency deserves ZERO stars for being deceitful and stealing people's money. I learned through my horrible experience with them that they are in fact based out of Europe and have an "office" in Los Angeles- not to mention, they will only communicate with you through email. Red flag.

Booking with OMG Travel will leave you saying, "OMG- how did I just get scammed?!" And if you think just because they are listed on VRBO that it's safe to use them- think again!

Shortly after booking a reservation and not receiving my confirmation, I became very suspicious. I quickly found hundreds of complaints and unsettling reviews online from literally hundreds of people (just like me) who were scammed by these frauds. I am disputing the charges on my Visa and now have to have my account "block the merchant" so they don't apply a surprise "$495 membership fee" as others have reposted, transaction to my credit card.

Do yourself a favor and AVOID this company. I don't know how they have gotten away with scamming everyone for this long and taking money for nothing. Their cancellation policy is NOT on their listing on VRBO. It is NOT even in small print where you enter your credit card information. It isn't even on the BOTTOM of any of their EMAIL correspondence. It's trickery and they are thieves!

Their cancellation policy (which, good luck finding it, detective) is that IF YOU CANCEL, ANYTIME, no matter what-they will keep 50% OF YOUR MONEY. PERIOD. I cancelled 15 mins after booking after reading the horrible reviews and realized this could ruin our entire vacation and quickly bailed.

I have yet to see a credit for the 50% I paid and according to others, they don't even return that money!

Unfortunately, according to "Chilly" in Budapest, their cancellation representative- it is too late...They get to keep 50% of my reservation for absolutely nothing! If this isn't theft, I don't know what is....AVOID AT ALL COST.

Kitchen: No sponge; No towel; No trash bag;No detergent for washing clothing; No bathroom soap. We were told to go out to the 99cent store & purchase what we needed & send the bill to the office. I did not think it was my job to go shopping for items that should have been supplied. These are basic items.See Page 8 of your info material. The worst offense was the apartment had only 2 sets of bath towels. I lost count how many times we called the office. We wanted to pick them up but were told there were no supplies. The man at the office said he would try to get hold of housekeeping. It never happened. My granddaughter had to bathe at a friends. Your agency does no offer adequate services. For what we went through I would like to be monetarily compensated. I was never so frustrated & aggravated.

Please read, I share with you , how terrible our experience was with VRLA, Vacation Rentals Los Angeles.
Do not rent from them under any circumstance.
We rented from them in LA in July 2016, it's now Dec. 2016, we have not received our $500 deposit back. The have told us many stories, lies and excuses for not refunding our money.
We did not cause any damage to their property and they know that.
This company is fraudulent, and we are filing a law suit against them.
It is impossible to reach them by phone, they did not give legitimate phone numbers, only emails.
Please, Again, do not rent from them,
You do not want your family vacation to be haunted by them.
I have travelled to various countries outside of the USA, and utilized Flip Key, and many others rental agencies, and all of those experiences have been wonderful,
Unfortunately this is the one horrible rental experience.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! It should be an act of war when European countries are stealing hard earn money from Americans. They stole $1141.55 from me. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE! They will not pay you your refund. You only communicate with them through e-mail and they will never give you a response. you will never get your money back from these thieves. Save your time and money and look elsewhere for your vacation. I give them -5 stars.

Beware. These guys are crooks. I rented an apartment in LA for 4 days last October, pre-paying $809. When I arrived at the VRLA office I was told the apartment was not available due to water damage. They also said they had no more apartments to rent. So, I was forced to scramble to fine alternative accommodations. I tried multiple times to collect my money, but not once did VRLA respond or return my phone calls. I tried contacting them 16 times, to no avail. They took the money and ran. So, my advice is to not rent from these guys, as you are likely to be robbed.

If you're travelling to LA, DO NOT BOOK WITH OMG TRAVEL!!!!! My Mother CALLED THEM and THEY finished my Mums booking last year and then charged us a $700AU membership THAT WE DIDN'T ASK FOR!

My Mum, STILL paid it anyway. We were supposed to get discounts that WE NEVER EVEN RECEIVED and now a year later, they've just charged us ANOTHER $700 for a membership fee- WHY? They had NO authorisation to do this. We have NOT contacted them since we left in March! WHY would they charge us again for something we didn't want in the first place? We DID NOT ASK FOR MEMBERSHIP!! These people are thieves. DO NOT BOOK WITH THEM.

Also we had asked for a 3 bedroom place they had advertised and they downgraded us to a 2 bedroom tower. These people disgust me. Save your money and book somewhere else, I can not stress this enough.
