J’ai vécu une très bonne expérience avec Avis. Accueil très chaleureux et professionnel. J’ai reçu beaucoup de conseils concernant le choix du véhicule etc.
En tout cas, je reviendrai et je conseil à tout le monde d’y aller!!!!

Un enfer une heure à 2 heure d'attente à chaque fois car il y a toujours un seul employé alors qu'ils savent très bien le nombre de retour et de réservation j'ai jamais vu ca alors que chez les concurrents il y a aucune attente à éviter la prochaine fois

Update: Customer Service resolved the issue and refunded the overcharged amount after we were able to provide photo and video proof that the vehicle was returned on time. If returning the keys and documents using the drop box, I would strongly recommend documenting the process with a video in case you run into the same situation as we did. I am restoring a couple of stars for some of the positives, including: extremely efficient pickup process; new, clean car that drove easily and comfortably (we received an automatic upgrade to a higher vehicle group as well); good prices when booked online.

Original review: Pickup was smooth and took less than 10 minutes. That was a good experience. However, returning was a different experience. The agreed time of return was 11.00 on a Saturday. We were at the rental office by 10.00, but there was no employee present at the Avis desk. We waited for more than 30 minutes but there was still nobody at the desk. They are supposed to be open until 12.00 on Saturdays!

Since we had to leave soon, we placed the keys and the documentation (including the ticket to the Parkhaus clearly showing our time of entry), in the key drop box outside the rental office. The following Monday, we were issued with an invoice via email charging us for three extra days of rental and a late return charge. Horrible service on Saturday and horrible after hours key return procedure where they will only close your rental at the time they retrieve your documents!

Avis did not have the car we had reserved and had to rent a larger, more expensive car. It seemed the Frankfort Avis did not have our reservation, so we had to start with a new reservation.
The office was closed an hour earlier than posted when we returned the car. The key drop box was tough to locate; luckily, with four people looking for it, we eventually found it. It is a long way from the podium where we left the car.
After paying close to $1000.00 - I'm getting messages six weeks later for additional charges. The messages are not from avis.com but from abg.com and abgcustomerservice.com. I'm guessing Avis outsourced their customer service, but why not use the avis.com domain? While the other domains may be legit, they give the appearance of a fishing scam. In summary be prepared to pay more and recieve less service.

RENTER BEWARE !!!! Rented a car for a month and returned it with absolutely no damage. Due to an early train, I needed to use the key drop. A few weeks after returning home to Canada I get a bill for 536.99 Euro for damage to the car!! I am now told from Avis that I'll hear from someone in 15-45 days about this! This is a complete fraud!!!!!!!!

Update: The charge consists of two damages, one scratch to a mirror that I have a photo of upon car pickup, the other is a 26-50mm superficial scratch that could be buffed out and was also most likely there prior to pickup but was so unnoticeable that I didn't take a picture of it. The letter of damage asks "were you possibly involved in a collision?" It really is an unbelievable situation as they continue to claim that the charges are valid and try closing the case. It has been reported as fraud to Visa, and I will not stop with Avis until my full refund is processed.

That’s my first time rent the car from this company. I would like to said it’s the best and most professional service I had been experienced as a car rental place. I had booked the standard one because of the short them stay but the host gave me a free upgrade to a premium car and it’s only took 10 mins. Normally it should take more than 1 hour to go though all the documents. Highly recommend for the people who looking for a professional car rental.

For car return: This place is hard to find and they do not answer the phone. I fixed it on Google, I hope it will work. You have to go into the south (Sud ) garage and drive all the way up to the 9th floor. After that you have to walk inside the main train station and return the key and parking pass you receive when entered the parking garage.
