Horrible place to live.

I had issues with mold in the washroom and nothing at all was done about my ongoing concerns. Instead we were told to shower with the door open. They have great cleaners but the community itself was very dirty. There’s always dog poo all around the building. Garbage left in hallways and laundry room. You’d think for the crazy rent prices you’d at least have a clean place to live. Also, for a long period of time the elevators kept going down and people kept getting stuck in them. It was terrifying and upsetting to not be able to safely use an elevator with a child from a higher floor. A lot of people were upset as it was a huge accessibility issue.

After moving out because I needed somewhere safe health wise for my child, I was bombarded with fees. $250 fee was just one fee for them to wipe the baseboards and walls. I tried to ask for better explanation on the crazy fees and explained my situation. I was ok to pay but not ridiculous amounts. Instead they continued to harass me threatening collections when we’ve only been gone for 2 weeks but knew about the balance for 4 days and I was actively talking to an agent. They even contacted my emergency contact who I never gave permission for anything else besides emergencies.

Living at Forest City Estates was a great experience. The team in the office was always helpful and easy to work with, and maintenance was quick to respond whenever something came up. The property was well-maintained and felt like home. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free place to live

It’s clear Boardwalk is paying for reviews. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Very creative names you’re using on your various accounts to write the reviews. 🙅🏻‍♀️

The laundry room is completely inaccessible. So basically you can get in the building (if the button at the front happens to be working that day 😏) but there’s no chance you can do your laundry. There’s no automated button or any other accessibility feature to allow those with even moderate physical barriers to access the washers and dryers. There’s not one but two heavy, inaccessible doors on the way into the laundry room. Most residents pay to have their laundry picked up and done elsewhere or they take it to more accessible laundry places. Neither of these should need to happen.

As for every single staff member at this site:

I moved into Forest Boardwalk Apartments, and my experience has been fantastic so far. The leasing office staff, Nitish and Seble, were incredibly helpful throughout the process.
Their professionalism and friendly demeanor made settling in much easier. The apartment community feels welcoming, and the facilities are well-maintained. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great living experience!

I moved out of my parents house into Boardwalk Estates apartments back in January 2022. I was nervous moving out of my parents to being on my own but have had a fantastic experience so far! Any time I have a maintenance issue, maintenance is there to fix it either the same day or the next morning which is amazing! Cleaners are frequently cleaning the hallways and lobby area when I am leaving for work which is nice knowing these areas are constantly upkept. I see other reviews saying that they've had issues with bugs but in my nearly 3 years living here, I have only ever had 3 spiders and 1 wasp sneak their way in.
