Nous avons passé un excellent week-end dans cette magnifique villa pour l'anniversaire de mes filles. Le top du top! Une vue époustouflante, un bel accueil, un décor de rêve. Le calme absolu au bord de l'eau. Les alentours sont également très agréable! Je recommande vivement ce lieu!

Beautiful and private location on the water, quiet and calm for relaxing.
We loved the energy neutral aspect, and the amenities of a bath tub and heating lamp for outside.
While this was great, I found dirty dishes in the cupboard, sticky plates, detergent streaked glasses, and dried food on utensils. This was just the beginning. My partner then found cucumber slices in our garbage bin, at this point we had yet to eat at the location so the garbage was left from the previous guests.
We decided to have Docks deliver dinner so that we wouldn't have to use as many items from the kitchen.
The delivery dining experience was well done and delicious, thank you to the restaurant!
Following dinner, we went to take showers, but the towels were frayed and ripped. Luckily there were nicer spare towels in a closet, but for the price you pay, the ripped towels should NOT be in the space.
We had a drink before going to bed, and then noticed trash was left under the sofa in the sitting area. We overlooked the frayed carpet, we assume that's from others wearing shoes inside.

For the price, this was extremely an disappointing stay at a location amid beautiful nature, especially when others have rated the venue so high.

Be wary of the other reviews and consider if this is worth it.

Ik heb twee nachten verbleven in de watervilla. We werden erg vriendelijk ontvangen door het personeel die ons uiteindelijk een rondleiding door de watervilla gegeven hebben. Wat een geweldig belevenis en wij zijn echt tot rust gekomen. Hele mooie en vooral unieke locatie in de natuur. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar dus!

Afgelopen 2 dagen met vriendinnen verbleven bij Haven Lake Village, wat was dit genieten! Bij aankomst werden we heel vriendelijk ontvangen en professioneel rond geleid door de villa. We konden gelijk met elkaar proosten aangezien er een fles wijn koud stond voor ons in de villa. De villa beschikt echt over alles wat je nodig hebt en het buitenbad is een ware beleving. Daarnaast was het ontbijt erg royaal en voor ieder wat wils.

De omgeving is prachtig en we hebben een prachtige wandeling gemaakt van 1,5 uur. Toen we terug kwamen hebben we gebruik gemaakt van de roomservice welke zeer aan te raden is. De chef kok kwam het eten per gang uitserveren in de villa en het eten was van top kwaliteit.

Al met al komen wij hier zeker nog een keer terug!

Wij hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad bij Havenlake! De inrichting is echt geweldig en alles was heerlijk schoon en fris! Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en bood een top service. We hebben genoten van prachtige fietstochten en wandelingen in de omgeving, zowel langs het water als door de nabijgelegen bossen. Ook kun je genieten van heerlijk eten bij restaurant Dock Fish en Grill. We kijken nu al uit naar ons volgende bezoek! 🌟🚴‍♀️🥂🌾

The rooms and location are amazing. The service isn’t too great. For those prices you’d expect 5 star hotel service which is not the case.

The breakfast is 25 euros per person, which you basically have to cook/prepare yourself… might as well just bring some groceries because that was definitely not worth the money.

They work exclusively with Docks restaurant. If you order at the room, you pay 20% roomservice fee. For us the restaurant was closed for a private event on Friday, which is fine and it happens. But then we still got charged with the roomservice fee, while not having an option. The restaurant tells us it’s not a fee that they charge, but Haven Lake Village itself. And according to the reception “there is nothing we can do, because they had a private event”. The issue I have with this is: The restaurant does the food delivery and prep at your villa and they did and it was great. But then why is Haven Lake charging 20%? Docks told us this is a fee that Haven Lake charges and they would gladly remove it for us as we couldn’t eat at the restaurant, but they cant. Not very service oriented from Haven Lake and as I said, definitely not for those prices.

Location and accommodation is great, just the approach to this situation was very disappointing.

Since I’m not able to reply to the reply, doing it like this.

1. The restaurant was not closed just in the afternoon, it was the entire evening as well for a private event. We could not have reserved a table even if we wanted to. Which we tried that afternoon so don’t lie please.

2. The charge was indeed known, you offer them as an exclusive for room service, which I get they are next to you. You don’t have influence over their opening times no. But what you do have influence over, is not charging your guests 20% if they don’t have a choice to eat at the restaurant. Because that 20% you pocket and they do the trouble by bringing the food over. It makes 0 sense and is not customer friendly.

3. Breakfast was fine, that's all she said. But it isn't worth the 25 euros pp, 2 days in a row. I ended up going to the supermarket and bought it ourself for the next day. You have a charge for the service I get that, but when breakfast is 25 euros pp I don't want to be baking it myself. Next to that, my wife is 8 month pregnant and we were there to celebrate a babyshower. What did the breakfast contain? Raw meat and raw salmon. Might want to consider that fact for future visitors who are pregnant.

Seems like you guys rather go on the defensive than actually acknowledge any of the improvements provided. Oh well, shows what kind of service I'm talking about.

Overall we had a great time, food is great, location is great. Just the customer friendliness is lacking, which is a shame but we'll survive.

Heerlijke dagen gehad hier. Bij aankomst netjes begeleid en volledige uitleg gehad over de werking van alle apparatuur en andere zaken. Ik had gekozen voor het iets te vieren arrangement waarbij 1 slaapkamer gevuld was met ballonnen en er een fles champagne klaar stond. Ook ontbijt erbij gekozen wat super uitgebreid is en wordt bezorgd in je villa eveneens als je avondete, als je dat wenst. Word geserveerd en al. Op Valentijn werd er een fles bubbels met een roos gebracht als verassing! Super leuk! Overal kaartjes bij, die het persoonlijk maken. Extreem vriendelijk personeel en geweldig goed eten bij het restaurant Docks. Alles was schoon te en de REED villa was voorzien van luxueuze apparatuur en meubels. Geweldige licht bediening en buiten lekker een heater zodat je niet in de kou zit. De bedden lagen heerlijk en alles was tot over de top verzorgd. Geen minpunt te vinden hier! De beste plek die ik ooit heb bezocht. In 1 woord prachtig. Bedankt voor de geweldige dagen die ik en m’n moeder bij jullie hebben gehad.

Super modern and lux villa tucked away from the hustle and bustle. It has all the amenities and then some. It was easy to make our way to Amsterdam via the train from the next town over and drive to the tulip fields near Keukenhof. My family enjoyed a beautiful sunset dinner on our terrace almost every night. Go. You won’t be disappointed.
