Splendide gîte, de l'intérieur comme de l'extérieur. Calme et dépaysement sont au rendez-vous. Wendy et Bob sont géniaux, ils sont accueillants et prévenants, des hôtes en Or. Ils connaissent très bien la région donc ils pourront vous indiquer des endroits merveilleux à découvrir.
Les cottages sont parfaits et d'une incroyable beauté. Le jardin est magnifique, nous avons pu faire un BBQ, c'était extra. Et puis il y a la piscine, un régal, juste à coté de la forêt, c'est tout simplement splendide.
Un séjour fantastique qu'on n'oubliera pas de sitôt

We had a great family holiday. Bob & Wendy were both really helpful and welcoming. Pool was well used, site spotless, with lots to see and do straight from the gite. The highlight was seeing Barn owls in the evening as we sat outside reading and enjoying a glass of wine.

I stayed here with a friend of mine for a long weekend. We had been recommended by some other friends. What a little gem .. We weren't disappointed. |We stayed in one of the two Cottages .. The owners Bob and Wendy live in the main house ..and they are a lovely English couple who have just purchased this. They were very helpful in helping us with directions to shops , villages and the different places that we visited. |The cottages /Gites are well equipped with everything we needed. One double bedroom a twin room and a shower room upstairs. Downstairs we had a lovely lounge area and kitchen. A huge log bunner was alight when we arrived, as sadly the weather was chilly and raining , so this was a very welcoming sight. |It does have a lovely looking pool but as I said it was raining. But I'm sure in the summer months this would be fab. We had full use of the pool if we wanted. |It is very peaceful and set in beautiful countryside.. All you can hear is the birds. ( wonderful )|We drove around most days visiting many of the beautiful villages around. One day we went to Brantome .. Which I highly recommend.. Fab little French town .|We plan to visit Bob and Wendy again ( when the sun is shinning )! |I highly recommend this place . Great little find. And reasonably priced.

La Grange Etable is lovely; rural and charming. Plenty of room and with everything we required. Bob and Wendy are good hosts - there to show us around at the outset of our holiday and then they left us to enjoy the tranquillity of their property. I really recommend La Grange Etable to those who want a quiet, relaxing holiday in a rural setting. Plenty to see and do in the area if you can drag your self away from the pool and sundeck.

In 2012, our son spent a week in one of these well equiped gites - and on his return to England, suggested that it would make an ideal location for a 'family' holiday. So in August 2013, 15 of us descended for a week on La Grange Etable - age range, 8 years-75 years, with the extended family being a mixture of English and Frech speakers!||The property was large enough for the four families to enjoy communal meals, and evenings watching satellites and shootinf stars - but also private space when wanted. The pool was a great success for all ages!||Active days in the local area were spent mountain biking, running, walking, exploring local historical sites and wonderful markets were then followed by evenings spent at local restaurants or BBQ's at the property.||Some of our party went off exploring the archeology of the Dordoyne - others followed the trail of Richard the Lion Heart.||A highlight of the holiday were the wine experience evenings with the owners, Mike and Penny. Mike explored French wines with us , whilst Penny provided appropriate food tasters to accompany the wine - do take up this opportunity!||The second week was much quieter - the French contingent had gone home! We experienced a very different style of holiday - much quieter, but just as enjoyable. We explored local villages and loved the total relaxation which La Grange Etable offered.

This was our second time here and our first with Bob and Wendy, the new owners. It was great to know that this superb place is still in good hands. Our cottage was well equipped and the wood burner took the chill off the colder weather we experienced this time round. There are plenty of interesting places to visit in the area but it is always nice to return to the piece and quiet of this lovely property. Highly recommended in every way.

We stayed her for 2 weeks and had the most lovely time.||The owners, Bob and Wendy were extremely helpful, friendly and lovely.||The gite was immaculate, very well equipped and came with a lovely large swimming pools and really good bikes on which we discovered the local area. ||Once you come here, you'll be counting the days to your return......we are!
