Après cette contraignante période de confinement et la limitation des voyages qui s'en est suivie, quel plaisir de trouver dans son pays un endroit aussi magnifique pour y passer quelques jours. La propriété est très ancienne, du XIe siècle, et a beaucoup de caractère. Le gîte est grand, lumineux, complet et très confortable.
La propriété, relativement isolée, est tranquille tout en ayant un accès rapide au Bugue où les commerces sont nombreux et il y a même un bon marché hebdomadaire. Évidemment, le Périgord et ses sites sont tout autour.

Saralynn et Gerry sont des hôtes très accueillants et prévenants. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.

We've been fortunate to have visited multiple times and must say... the ultimate France experience! The Gite is our favourite, but the Cottage is just as special. Both would be considered as dream homes to us. The location, surroundings, style and attention to details are second to none. Saralynn and Gerry were the ultimate hosts and we're lucky now consider them good friends. And although their home is within short distance of the Gite and Cottage, we felt complete privacy during our stays. They do keep the pool as their own little private sanctuary, but with so much to do and see in the area, we did not feel we were missing out on anything. Must be experienced, as words are simply not enough. And the cherry on top... the best value (by far) in our entire 10 months travel throughout Europe. Cannot wait to return!

We - a group of 7 ladies - stayed at the self-catering gite and cottage in Pecany last summer 2019. The accommodation surpassed all our expectations! The gite was beautifully equipped with everything you could want and the decor and fittings were of the highest quality. The cottage (sleeps 2 - best suited to a couple) was stunning and equipped with everything you could ask for to make a wonderful stay. The gardens were delightful to wander and the (small) pool was just right to cool down!

Saralynn and Gerry were lovely hosts and were able to show us some of the nearby sights and activities - typical French villages, restaurants, canoeing and hot-air ballooning are all close by. A boulangerie and supermarket are a five-minute drive away if you want to self cater; the kitchens in the cottage and gite would please any top quality chef! There is a beautiful al fresco eating area to while away a lovely warm evening. An easy 50 minute drive from Bergerac airport.

My best friend and I had a great four nights in the cottage at Maison de la Tour. The Cottage itself is beautiful with lots of character, it’s spotlessly clean and there are also lots of lovely touches for guests. Saralynn and Gerry were so kind throughout our stay, and had some great recommendations for the local area - thank you.

Our second stay at La Maison de la Tour in less than a year. It's an idyllic spot, quiet with lovely grounds and beautiful views across the Dordogne valley to Limeuil. The accommodation is comfortable and very stylishly furnished. Though in a quiet spot, La Maison is well situated for exploring the valleys of the Dordogne and the Vezere, so there is lots to do - or just relax and do nothing! There are nice walks from the house and Le Bugue, just five minutes drive away, has a great market, some good shops and eateries, and all the essentials. Saralynn and Gerry are friendly and convivial hosts. We're looking forward to visiting again.

My boyfriend and I had a beautiful stay in the cottage at Maison de la Tour, I couldn’t recommend it enough.
The accommodation is very comfortable and had everything we could have thought of (thank you to our hosts!) we especially loved the claw foot bath and there is an outside shower if you’re feeling more risqué!

Saralynn was great at helping us discover places in the local area- she had recommendations to cater for everyone. Our highlight was canoeing down the Dordogne and then having a delicious supper at the night market at the nearby hamlet of Audrix.
We will definitely be looking to come back next summer!

Perfect place to stay if you like combination of french charm and thought-through design and function. Also the view to the valley is fantastic. And I can write a long poem about hosts - they are just wonderful people, very helpful, kind and they can recommend you great places to visit around. I am sure we'll come back one day 😉

Graham and I enjoyed a life changing stay with Saralynn and Gerry – so much that we are returning to buy in the region we loved it so much – it is spectacularly beautiful. We stayed over a week and will return again this season … everything about the accommodation is QUALITY – décor, linens, kitchen appliances and above all the hosting….oh and the PASTRIES and BREAD to die for. We have left our heart in Pecany, and cannot wait to return.
