I went to La Ronciere for 5 days to relax and unwind and was blown away by the beautiful and peaceful location. We arrived and drove in to a beautiful remote chateaux- lovely gardens, inviting pool and phenomenal accommodation. The rooms were all spacious and tastefully done up and were inviting and clean. There are so many areas to relax from the porches near the house, the garden, the pool and the pool house. All the spaces are comfortable and with great atmosphere and scenery. The beds were really comfortable and I felt able to relax and unwind. The weather, wine and food were serious added bonuses and all in all it has the perfect set up for a fantastic holiday to enjoy with friends. La Ronciere has a great set up to accomodate for a large number of people and therefore would be great for big group bookings. Fantastic stay with lots of activities on offer - tennis, table tennis, pool, games, go-karting, walks, exercise and wine tasting. I would highly recommend!! Nick and Sara are incredibly accommodating and spending time with them was an added bonus. They are also exceptional cooks so if you like your food this is the place for you!! Enjoy your stay!!

My husband and I stayed with Nick and Sara in mid July and can't wait to return. The house and surroundings are truly beautiful, oozing with French period charm. From the magnificent tree-lined driveway to the long white window shutters, there was a photo opportunity at every turn. ||||The location is fabulous being only 20 minutes from Bergerac airport. A short 1.5hr flight and you are sat by the cooling pool before you know it. ||||It is definitely worth taking a walk around the surrounding countryside and if you have a car, take the short trip to Bergerac which is full of lots of boutique shops and cafes. ||||Sara and Nick were the perfect hosts, along with the doggies and not forgetting Catty of course. They made us feel very welcome and we 'at home' immediately. ||||We will definitely be returning and for longer!!||||Oh... and if you love cheese... you'll love this part of France. The Brie!!! Oh my goodness. ||||Sarah and Joe.

La Ronciere is an absolutely stunning retreat in the depths of the Dordogne [but easily accessible from Bergerac airport]. The house itself has been beautifully and meticulously renovated, offering comfortable and sumptuous interiors, suitable for groups of adults or families with a great selection of rooms suitable for all ages [and good powerful showers!]. There is a lovely pool with a shaded eating/bar area just behind it for long drawn out summery lunches and dinners. Was also very impressed by the beautiful garden/tennis court/ping pong area and just general meandering, games, napping space. Nick and Sara are consummate hosts, and I thoroughly recommend asking them to cook a few nights if you can - the food was wonderful, made with the freshest of local ingredients and they managed to accommodate my tricky eating habits [gluten and dairy free] without the bat of an eyelid. Particularly recommend Nick's caramel and banana tart if you get a chance to try it . .. all in all - a wonderful place to unwind and forget about the daily grind in the beautiful French countryside.

La Ronciere - Nick and Sara have created a wonderful peaceful and tranquil home in the most gorgeous grounds and setting.||||The bedrooms and bathrooms are so comfortable and welcoming and the summer Salon and Winter Salon are wonderful to chill in.||||The immaculate tennis court and stunning pool and pool area are somewhere you won’t want to leave!||||There is so much on offer as addition to your holiday and also to explore near by, Nick kindly organised a trip to a food and wine pairing at a local vineyard, very cool!||||The airport is 20mins away which is such an added bonus too! Easy commute from the UK.||We would highly recommend staying here for total rest, relaxation and comfort.

Fantastic, luxurious fully catered indulgence. This is a fantastic rural mansion set in its own grounds with a generous pool and tennis court, woods, and hammocks, country strolls and market towns around every corner. My advise would be to book early to avoid not getting the dates you want, the place sleeps 12 and for the fully catered experience is great value for money. Cant recommend this place highly enough for people who want a full catered (pampered, Nick and Sara are excellent hosts) experience to recharge the batteries and explore this charming part of France. Nearest airport is Bergerac (20 Mins)

I stayed with my family (young adults and parents) and found Nick and Sara to be absolute charming hosts. The lengths that our hosts went to ensure that our every need was catered for and answers to many questions were answered. The guidance to markets, amenities and attractions were flawless.||The food and drink were outstanding and obviously cooked and delivered with a great deal of care and advanced culinary skills, I think one of them was on Masterchef.||You will stay in a beautiful homely environment, with Internet, Sky and sound systems everywhere to plug your music devices into. The Pool room is a fantastic center for reveling, with a beautiful pool set in delightful garden surroundings.||This fully catered holiday was worth every penny and I would strongly advise booking in advance to ensure you get the dates you want.

La Roncier is breathtakingly beautiful; peacefully remote yet only 20mins from the airport. Beyond the automatic gates, a tree lined driveway propels you towards the stunning house and barns. There’s plenty of locations to set yourself up in to while away the hours; a well-loved garden complete with tennis court, swimming pool, croquet lawn, whiff-whaff table and hammock as well as countless stunning rooms and glorious country walks right outside the door.||The fully catered service provided by hosts Sara and Nick was outstanding, nothing was too much trouble and absolutely everything had been catered for. The food was THE BEST; the care and attention taken for each freshly prepared meal could quite literally be tasted in every mouthful.||We began as stressed-out strangers, parted as chilled-out friends and simply cannot wait to return.

La Ronciere is a really comfortable home from home and a wonderful place to stay and relax with family and friends. We loved it so much we didn't leave the house for 6 days except to shop for food, even with two days of dull, wet weather. The house and grounds had masses of space for everyone to either hide away or be together, a glorious pool, tennis court, plenty of board games, cards, books, magazines and more. Every last detail had been thought of and there was a glorious and ample supply of hot water. Look forward to returning again, including for long weekend breaks, log fires and generally a space to get away from it all.
