We had a birlliant week in Le banquet. We stayed in La Fermette which was perfrect for our family of 5, and Paul and Claire (perfect hosts!) had all the required stuff to make it child friendly. The pool is lovely, the grounds immaculate, and the part of the Dordogne in which it's located would be perfect for a fortnight's exploration or more. Highly recommended - thanks!

We have just had a lovely week at Le Banquet with our two children (6 and 7). Karen and Rob were great hosts, there to help with anything we needed and great advice on local life.

The accommodation was clean, well equip and felt very homely. Our children enjoyed the games room, swimming pool and exploring the grounds.

The surrounding area is stunning and a canoe trip is highly recommended. Lots of local good food and wine!

Would highly recommend and will be returning in the future 🙂

We have just returned from a fabulous week in what can only be described as the perfect Gite for a family holiday.
Ideally positioned for access to the local area- we particularly enjoyed visiting the market, canoeing and high ropes.
The owner’s attention to detail at the Gites is second to none- beautifully maintained gardens and pool, a games room and everything you could possibly need in the well equip gites- even a coffee machine and for those with younger children plastic plates and bowls.
The owners were so attentive and happy to advise on places to visit in the local area- we lived every second and will definitely be back

My wife and 2 year old son, had a fantastic stay at Le Banquet in June 2019. The accommodation was lovely (we stayed in La Fermette), gardens were well presented and maintained, the pool area was great on sunny days, and the play barn was a real hit with our son on rainy days. Karen and Rob were great hosts who made us feel very welcome. Cannot recommend highly enough.

We have just returned from a lovely week at Le Banquet, with our daughter, son-in-law, and our two grandchildren. Both Karen and Rob were very welcoming and helpful on our arrival, and remained so during the week. Our accommodation was perfect, the inside being very clean and prettily furnished with lots of attention to detail, and an outside patio area within a few feet of a beautiful stream/river which we could hear babbling as we enjoyed our evening barbecues. The four acres of grounds were beautifully maintained with lovely shrubs and trees offering natural shade if needed. The weather was perfect, and we spent many hours at the ample pool, where our grandchildren, aged 10 and 8 had great fun with the four other children who were staying at Le Banquet at the same time. We also took advantage of the games barn which housed table tennis, poole, and many other toys and games for all ages. There was also plenty to see in the surrounding area, when we were able to tear the children away from the pool. Our only disappointment was that we only booked for one week!

We have recently returned from our holiday at Le Banquet and was instantly impressed by the beautiful gardens and facilities it had to offer. My 4 year old loved the climbing frame, games room and swimming pool.

We stayed in Le Tournesol cottage and found it to be very charming, clean, well-furnished and enjoyed relaxing in the pretty terrace.

Rob and Karen were very kind, helpful and friendly and we could not thank them enough for making our holiday such a stress-free and enjoyable experience. Such lovely people!!

We hope to return as the Dordogne is absolutely beautiful and has some stunning places to visit including Sarlat and Marqueyssac. I highly recommend Parc Le Bournat too!

We've just returned from spending 2 weeks at Le Tournesol with our 2 children. Couldn't recommend highly enough. The gite had everything we needed and all to a top quality. The pool was a godsend as we had a mini heatwave and the gardens are beautiful especially with the stream running through. The gamesroom was a big hit with the children too. Karen and Robert are perfect hosts, friendly and nothing too much trouble. Hopefully we'll be back soon!!
