What a gem! So lucky to have found this place in the heart of Bergerac. The landlords are lovely and helpful. The bed and breakfast is cozy and delightfully decorated. Bed was very comfortable. Great location. Walking distance to everything. Got lucky on parking nearby.

This is so much more than an average bed and breakfast. The bed and breakfast accommodation is in a separate house (the owners live in a house behind) and share two lounges and a kitchen. The whole house is on three floors and is so much bigger than it looks from the outside. Each bedroom (we had two) is a very good size (especially the top room) with its own bathroom and has lovely views over the quiet pretty square or a pretty courtyard. The house is beautifully furnished and fully equipped with everything you need. It was the perfect base for 4 nights for a family of four sharing two rooms. We originally looked at the hotels in Bergerac and this B & B was actually cheaper, included breakfast and gave you the space you would expect from renting out a town house, with a homely feel and personalised touch. The location was also better than the hotels in Bergerac. It was located in the old, beautiful part of the town where you literally walk out of the front door and walk along the cobbled streets, either down to the river or to one of the many fantastic restaurants. Breakfast is served in the owners' pretty enclosed courtyard where you can meet the other guests and chat to the lovely owners who were so friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. We are so pleased we chose this accommodation over the hotel. Thank you so much Rosetta and Bruce. It really is the perfect place to stay in Bergerac!

This ancient and beautiful house has been most carefully restored and most comfortably furnished so that now it provides three large double bedrooms, each with their own bathroom, two lovely drawing rooms and a large kitchen where one can make a hot drink or use the fridge. The location is perfect, close to the river in the old part of Bergerac where the maze of narrow streets gives you cafes, restaurants and charming little shops very close at hand yet it is also close to the huge free carpark. The quiet little square in which it sits,has a lovely statue of the famed Cyrano de Bergerac so it is easy to find. We had the twin bed room at the top of the house which entails many stairs but worth it for the views. We stayed in winter yet the house was beautifully warm. The experienced hosts know well just what is useful and helpful for their guests. Personally I longed to own the house!

In addition to a bright, spacious, comfortable room, we had access to plenty of beautiful, shared guest space. The bathroom was large and contained some additional, very thoughtful little items. The location was quiet, but close to everything we wanted to see in historic Bergerac, even without a car. Breakfast was available in an idyllic garden courtyard where we were able to chat with our hosts and other guests. During those meals, we learned a lot, including even more local culture and history than that covered in the tours we took. We received excellent value for our money.
