Superbe accueil, une maison pleine de charme et des hôtes généreux et gentils. La maison est située dans un lieu idéal permettant de rayonner dans le Périgord noir. En cas de chaleurs il y a des ventilateurs et la piscine est très agréable.
Il y a tous les commerces nécessaires et de bons restaurants à moins de 10 minutes en voiture ainsi que des marchés locaux excellent durant la saison estivale.
La cuisine est bien fournie et un panier gourmand nous attendait à notre arrivée.
Je recommande fortement pour un instant magique en famille ou entres amis.

Les gites de La Boissière sont idéalement situés dans la vallée de la Dordogne, très proches des différents sites d’intérêt. Nous avons passé une semaine régénératrice dans le gite "la Boulangerie"au coin du feu . Le gite est très confortable , bien équipé notamment avec un poêle à bois et décoré avec goût.Il offre une vue époustouflante sur la vallée avec des variations de lumière à chaque moment de la journée.||Nos hôtes , Tish et Stuart,ont été d'une extrême gentillesse et très attentionnés . Tish nous a fait découvrir l 'environnement du gite et son patrimoine à à travers les chemins bucoliques qui jouxtent leur propriété.||Nous recommandons vivement la Boissière à tous ceux qui veulent découvrir cette région magnifique .

Every time we arrive at Maisons la Boissière, it feels like coming home. The warmth and hospitality shown are so genuine, it feels like spending time with family! The location is stunning, and all of the gites are equipped with everything we need for a most comfortable stay.

My wife and I, and Pebbles (our Border terrier) had a fantastic 10 days at this perfect location. We thoroughly enjoyed our gite, the facilities & swimming pool. The pool was well maintained and was a great welcome after an 11 hr journey from the UK in the hot weather. Stuart & Trish cooked us an amazing meal on the first night of arrival and booked us restaurants, found us local wines, recommended good air balloon trips and provided amazing advice on various markets and local shops. The location has great views and provides easy access to some really pretty towns and villages. It was for a lovely holiday and we would most definitely recommend anyone that wants to visit, without or without their pets.

We had a family week in August, 8 adults + 4 children, spread across the 3 gites. We all had a fantastic week, really enjoyed the facilities. Gites , gardens & swimming pool were all well maintained and plenty of really nice touches. Stuart & Trish were excellent hosts, booked us restaurants, canoeing trips and gave us a really nice meal on the first night ( which in effect lasted us 2 days). Their advice about the various markets and the local wine shop + bakery was very welcome, we happily took advantage of it. The location has great views and provides easy access to some really pretty towns and villages. ||Thanks for a lovely holiday, certainly no hesitation in recommending it and our intention is to be back sometime in the future.

We have just enjoyed a wonderfully warm and sunny week at Maisons La Boissiere. Stuart and Tish were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. The first food shop and home cooked first night meal was most welcome after our long drive. ||||The swimming pool was fantastic; a great size, very clean and surprisingly warm for this time of year. Lovely sun loungers too.||||The gite was charming and the little extras such as pool towels, bikes and BBQ really added to the holiday. ||||The views from the terrace were so beautiful; ideal for enjoying alfresco dining and a glass of wine. Situated in a great location - easy to explore the region with lots of great places to visit within a 20-30 minute drive. ||||A truly memorable holiday, made all the better by the lovely hosts, Stuart and Tish!

Wonderful place for a family holiday, lovely location, very French, we swam in the rivers every day, canoed, walked, enjoyed the super clean pool, the views and the great hosts of Stu and Tish. Thanks for all of the suggestions, for immediately taking our calls when we couldn’t find the vet, and for creating such a great get away, we had the best time, family Mills and Mara the dog

This was our third trip to stay at Maison La Boissiere and was exactly the medicine needed after being in lockdown in the UK. Stu and Tish give such a warm welcome and nothing is too much trouble where their guests are concerned - from providing wine and provisions for when we arrived, to cooking dinner in their beautiful walled garden, and providing some first aid help when one of our party sprained an ankle. The gites are really lovely and furnished with great care to feel like home from home, with fabulous views. Our children enjoyed hours of fun playing in the gorgeous pool, allowing us to relax by the pool and read, real bliss! We will definitely return soon.
