North Star Restaurant is definitely our new favorite spot! The staff is incredibly friendly, the portions are generous, and the homemade cooking is just amazing. Highly recommend!

I was in Canada for a work trip, at a customer site right down the road. A colleague told me that I should check this place out, and one of the gentlemen I was working with confirmed the food was good and the portions were large. Holy cow, were they ever right. I got the hot hamburg sandwich with fries and veggies, and there was just no way I would be able to finish it all. The staff was very friendly, the food was just terrific, and the establishment was clean. I mean, what more could you ask for. Hoping I get sent back up here again so I don't have to pay for a revisit out of pocket.

Best food around , met Gus over 35 years ago and he still says hi , they have take out and a few Picnic tables out front , our waitress was very nice and our meals excellent, here is a pic of my delicious fish and chips !
Just had a cheeseburger! Best around!

What a charming little restaurant! My father hadn't visited since he was a child, so we decided to stop by on our way back from London. We're absolutely delighted that we did. The atmosphere brought back the feeling of enjoying a hearty, farm-style meal from my childhood. Make sure to leave room for the Coconut Cream Pie.

This is the 3rd time I've come to the North Star and each and every time I've enjoyed my experience. The atmosphere is lovely - the place is simple and clean, and reminds me of diners back in the day that have that homey feel to them. The servers are nice (especially Tammy!) and the food is always good. Love that I found this little gem!

I was on the road and decided to stop here today with a coworker for breakfast. Did not disappoint, was a good home-cooked meal, I went with the Combo breakfast. 3 eggs, 3 sausage, 3 bacon, toast w/ jam, juice and hash browns.

I went with scrambled eggs, very well cooked. The bacon and sausage were amazing and the star of the show were the hash browns. Had a very tasty seasoning on them and the serving size was perfect.

I highly recommend for breakfast, but will return to try other meals for lunch and/or dinner! Thank you for the wonderful food and amazing service.
