SIXT business model seems to be to charge very little for the car and then hit you with a huge insurance cost at the counter OR a spurious damage claim if you reject the insurance.
These guys are absolute thieves. There was a tiny scuff mark, barely a scratch which I know I did not cause. It was perhaps an inch long. They are charging me $780 for it, without providing any kind of evidence that it was not already there when I first picked it up. For all I know the girl who noted it gets a commission for “finding” (or making) tiny little marks and reporting them. I rent a dozen cars a year and have never had a situation like this ever. I am careful with rental cars, treat them with respect, I never bump into anyone or anything. Don’t risk SIXT. They will respond with false humility and an email address you can reach out to, but it’s a sham. I will update this if they cancel the fees against me. If the review is here you can know their response to this review is just for show.

My experience with this company was very disappointing. Booked through a travel website, checked in (sent a picture of my ID/ created a profile) and then was told once I was at the desk my ID could not be accepted because it had a tiny chip in it. Anthony at customer service was very rude and unprofessional. Not only had they seen my ID beforehand because of the online check in but this ID had been accepted by TSA, hotels and also at Enterprise car rental. Very frustrating and disappointing experience. Not to mention the refund process had been long and complicated. Go elsewhere for car rental needs- the hassle of this place is not worth it.

I had a great experience renting from this location. You definitely cannot beat the price here vs renting directly from the airport. They provide clear instructions on how to locate their kiosk. I had no problem locating their entrance which is located in between 801 Chophouse and Restoration Hardware. For those who have issues, just look on Google maps (map type: satellite) and you'll see the entrance. Big shout out to Braden who was immensely helpful with check-in/check-out. Also, returning the car is super easy as well. Again, instructions are clear on how to locate their drop off area via the west deck garage. Make sure to use the entrance via University Blvd and cherry creek drive. You will see sixt signs guiding you to the drop off area.I received my final invoice and had no issues. I rented a car for 6 days.

Beware! Frivolous charges in rearview mirror are larger than they appear!!!! I had a great experience and gave great reviews all the way down to the friendly attendant Camilo at the Cherry Creek location. My problems came weeks after when Sixt was charging me almost $$$ 1,000.00 $$$ in damages. A chip in the windshield and a rubber scuff on the rear bumper. Please take note if you do not make a note take video take pictures draw a picture and diagram any and all imperfections you will get charged. I did not scuff the bumper and I surely don't know if the small chip happened while I drove the vehicle but I am being asked to pay. The process on the claims is all automated and does not allow you to speak to any Reps it just pushes you to pay. This seems like a scam. If you risk it and rent from these people please be full of care and document document document. It does not hurt to get as much insurance as possible if you decide to risk it all either. Calls to Cherry Creek location were never returned I have my employer disputing the charges.

This a review of corporate. Will, the branch manager, has tried to help. I was double charged for my rental. Corporate refuses to refund the original source of payment. They then created a secondary fraudulent invoice trying to prove they had credited me. Has false personal information, wrong vehicle details. Absolutely despicable company. Will be my first and last time using.

I had a great experience renting an SUV from SIXT. The representative was very knowledgeable and helpful, even walking me to the vehicle.
The rental process was smooth, and I encountered no issues with the car. However, returning the car to 3000 E 1st Ave in Denver was challenging due to the maze-like mall garage drop-off. Despite this, the service was excellent overall. Highly recommend!
