Une bonne Guinness sur une terrasse!
Quel service exécrable. Il y avait deux demoiselles qui ont commandé avant moi et le serveur pensait qu'on était ensemble. Il nous a donné une seule facture. J'avais commandé 2 bières, il en a apporté juste une et, selon l'expression de son visage, il n'était pas content. Après une attente interminable, on a enfin eu nos bières, une chance qu'on avait du soleil sur la terrasse!

The Local Irish Pub in downtown is a fantastic spot! Bartender Steve is excellent, super friendly and attentive. I absolutely loved the Ginger Locks cocktail; it’s perfectly balanced and delicious. The Irish Poutine is so good, comfort food at its best, and the Garlic Whiskey Bites are a must try! Great atmosphere and an all-around enjoyable experience.

Stopped by on the last night of my brief stay in the Twin Cities and I was very happy with the whole experience! The service was awesome, the food was delicious, and the beer was cold and flavorful. I had the fish and chips, with the walleye, and had a cup of their tomato soup. Some of the best tomato soup I have ever had! I also tried walleye for the first time (at the bartender’s recommendation) and it was absolutely phenomenal! Their slaw was perfectly seasoned and was delicious.

I can’t quite remember the name of the Ale I was sipping on, but it was Irish and it was delicious. An excellent alternative to Guinness if one wants to mix it up. Overall an awesome experience, and I will be coming back whenever I happen to be in the area!

This is by far the best Irish bar I have visited! The food is fantastic! The Chicken Shots are a must try! The Walleye Sandwich is also delicious! Ask the bartenders about the history of the bar. It’s interesting!

The food here was decent, but unfortunately, the service left much to be desired. We had a glass break during our meal, and despite notifying the staff, no one came to clean it up. We waited for a long time, but conveniently for the staff we had already paid, which is probably why we left with glass shards and blood still surronding our table.

However, after the manager personally reached out and assured me that they were committed to addressing the issues and making things right, I decided to revise my review. Their proactive approach, clear communication, and genuine effort to improve left a positive impression on me. It’s clear they value feedback and are dedicated to providing a better experience for all customers moving forward

Great location on Nicollet Mall with a nice patio area. Good food both regular and late night menu. Recently stopped in on a weeknight after 10 pm and had to order at the bar and then find a seat. Thought that was a confusing setup but it all worked out. Service was good, even being late at night.

The best fish and chips I've ever had. Complete surprise and made my night. The chips were nice as well. I ordered the fish and chips and also ordered the "chips and dips" appetizer. I was under the impression that the "chips" that would come with the appetizer would be different from those that would come with the fish -- nope. The chips of the "Chips and dips" appetizer and the chips of the fish and dips" entree are exactly the same. The appetizer comes with a cheese dip and a curry dip though, that's the only difference. I asked the staff if we should order the "chips and dips" with the "fish & chips" and they said to go for it. We ended up with a bunch of fries (lol). I would've liked to try something different. Will definitely visit again for the fish. Do give it a try!
