Don't be fooled by Maps' location for the Thritfty office! It doesn't exist
...instead the rental process is handled by the Hertz office several hundred meters down the road. If you come by public transport, it is easiest to take Bybanen Line 2 and get off at the Mindemyren Stop. You'll see the warehouse with the Hertz logo right across an empty lot.

The actual rental process was unproblematic and easy.

I recently rented a car in Norway through Thrifty, and while the rental process itself went smoothly, I encountered a significant issue afterward that affected my overall experience.

Although the car rental was positive and straightforward, I received an unexpected charge nearly a month later for a service I did not use. I contacted Thrifty’s customer service to resolve the issue, but after several attempts to communicate, I have yet to receive any response. The situation is currently being handled by the customer service of the booking platform I used.

Overall, while the rental process was fine, this post-rental experience and the lack of customer support from Thrifty have marred what should have been a smooth experience. I hope Thrifty improves its customer service to prevent similar issues for future customers.

Location needs to be updated
It is technically in the Hertz office, now.

My rating is for location reasons- not rental (I had a good experience with thrifty elsewhere). We walked around a good bit looking for the office to find out it’s a part of Hertz, now.
